This article provides a step-by-step guide for completing Identity Verification on Bybit TR. The verification process will require you to complete Personal Information, Proof of Identity and Proof of Address.

 

 

 

 

Step 1: Click on the profile icon on the right side of the navigation bar, then click on Account.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 2: Click on Verify Now in the Identity Verification section under Account Info to enter the Identity Verification page.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 3: Verify your Personal Information by answering this questionnaire.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 4: Verify your Proof of Identity by completing the verification below. 

• Mobile number verification

• Scan your ID via NFC

• Join a video call with a reviewer

 

Please note that this step can only be completed via Bybit TR App. If you do not have a Bybit TR App, you can scan the QR code to install the app.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 5: Go to the Identity Verification page to verify your Proof of Identity. Only a Turkey ID Card is currently accepted as the proof of identity on Bybit TR. Before you start, please ensure your phone supports NFT scanning and tap Confirm to continue.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 6: Verify your identity by following the instructions on the page. 

• Complete the mobile number verification using the same number registered to your Bybit TR account.

• Scan your ID via NFT scanning to complete the identity document verification.

• Once the NFT scanning is done, please wait for 5 - 15 minutes for a customer support agent to join you to complete a video verification. By default, the verification will be done in Turkish language, but English is also supported.

 

 

 

 

 

Step 7: In normal circumstances, identity assessment will be completed automatically right after you have completed your proof of identity. However, certain users will be required to complete an Identity Assessment Questionnaire. Users are responsible for ensuring that all submitted information is accurate and reliable.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 8: Lastly, complete the Proof of Address verification. Bybit only accepts documents such as utility bills, bank statements, and residential proof issued by your government as a valid proof of address. The submitted document must be dated within the last three months and issued in Turkey. Documents dated older than three months will be rejected.
